Should I pop wrinklers before ascending? ›

If a wrinkler is popped before reaching the big cookie, it will not drop any cookies or upgrades, but will count towards the "Wrinklers Popped" statistic.

Shiny wrinklers are a very rare type of wrinkler in Cookie Clicker that have a 1/10000 chance (0.01%) of spawning.

While you're on frenzy cps is multiple by 7 (if I remember correctly) so I think it'll make Wrinkler be able to suck more cookies and when pop it , it will give you more cookies than normal.

Grandmapocalypse must be active, and your available Wrinkler spots can't be full IIRC. I tried the Grimiore spell Resurrect Abomination and it summoned a wrinkler.

The general rule of thumb is to wait until you have passed 440 prestige levels before ascension, which equates to 85.184 quintillion cookies. While this sounds a lot – and it is – the benefits you reap from waiting until then are worth it.

If you're farming Golden Cookies, you should stop the Grandmapocalypse at Phase 1, since you can get Wrinkler benefits while also getting a pretty high chance of getting Golden Cookies. You should still get to Phase 3 on one of your first runs to get the Grandmapocalypse Achievements.

To start the Grandmapocalypse, seven Grandma types must be purchased, and at least six grandmas must be owned. The Bingo center/Research facility will now be unlocked. This will allow different research/upgrades to be purchased and eventually the "One Mind" Upgrade.

You can beat Wrinklers in Cookie Clicker by simply clicking on them three times. After you do it with a Wrinkler, it will explode and give you all Cookies it consumed. Of course, the number of Cookies you will receive will be increased by 10% and Wrinklers are quite an interesting way to earn more resources.
